What we collect

QuizEngine does not require you to create an account. We collect minimal data to operate the service: quiz session data (stored temporarily), usage analytics via Google Analytics (anonymised), and email addresses only when you voluntarily submit them via our mailing list form.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember quiz streaks, daily quiz completion, and personal bests. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use QuizEngine. This may set cookies and collect anonymised usage data. We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate quiz content — your quiz prompts are sent to Anthropic's servers to produce questions. Please see Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle this data.

Community predictions

Knockout Predictor submissions are stored in aggregate only — we record team vote counts, never individual user data tied to a prediction.
